Has anyone ever really thought about the cruelty of feeding kibbles to dogs? I’ve heard Mama (aka the Princess) say that they are good for a dog’s digestive system. Hah! You try eating that stuff. It is totally inedible. I don’t notice anyone else in the house eating kibbles!

The Prince does give me little treats on top of my kibbles, which I do love and always eat right away. The kibbles I leave until I am so hungry I would eat just about anything.

When I do get around to eating those awful balls of glue mixed with sawdust, I do a “Havanese” thing: I pick up a kibble out of my bowl, and carry it somewhere a few feet away, drop it, sniff it a bit, and then eat it. Not sure why I do that, but I think I learned it from my mother, Peaches. Some day I will write more about dear old Mom. And Aunt Rosie, who I’m said to favor quite a bit.
